Terms of Service

Uart Debug is experimental engineering software. You remain responsible for reviewing generated code and deciding whether it is safe to compile, flash, connect to hardware, or reuse.

Using the service

You may use Uart Debug only where lawful and only with hardware, source, accounts, and content you are authorized to use. You must be legally able to accept these terms, or use the service with a parent or guardian where required.

Google sign-in and AI Credits

Google sign-in may be required for the AI assistant. Free AI Credits are a technical usage allowance, have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be changed or withdrawn. You may not evade account or browser limits, automate abusive requests, share sessions, or manipulate usage accounting.

AI output and hardware risk

AI answers and generated mini-projects can be incomplete, incorrect, or unsafe. Independently review source, register configuration, timing, electrical assumptions, memory use, and device compatibility. Keep a recoverable hardware and firmware path. Do not rely on Uart Debug for safety-critical, medical, transport, industrial-protection, or other high-risk use without qualified independent verification.

Your content

You retain rights you have in prompts, source, and other material you provide. You grant Uart Debug and its processors the limited permission needed to process that material and return the requested result. Do not submit secrets, unlawful material, or content you lack permission to use.

Open-source code

The public Uart Debug repository is licensed under AGPL-3.0-only, with separately identified third-party components under their own licenses. These service terms do not replace the applicable software licenses.

Availability and changes

Features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued, including AI models, free Credits, project formats, and hardware support. We may restrict access to protect users, infrastructure, providers, or the public.

No warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness, compatibility, uninterrupted operation, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Uart Debug project and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, including lost data, damaged hardware, failed firmware, lost profits, or interrupted work. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.

Termination and data requests

You may stop using the service and sign out at any time. We may suspend access for abuse, security risk, or violation of these terms. See the Privacy Policy for account-data deletion and other privacy requests.
